Born in July 1979 in northern Germany, Florian´s artistic passion began in his earliest childhood. When he was still a little toddler just capable of holding a crayon, he chose Walt Disney to be his very first role model. All along his young ages he always tried to relive his favorite scenes from famous animation films and genre movies. Doing so with pen, paper and his imagination. At the age of 10 his father brought home a high-8 camcorder, which was like a revelation for him. From then on Florian and his friends horsed around remaking tv show sketches, stop-motion doodles and stunt scenes from his favorite action films. His professional career began for him in 1998 as a graphic design intern at edel records in Hamburg. There he got awesome opportunities to realize his first cover artworks and logo illustrations. Two years after he moved to Berlin and did work for some startups. Over the following decade he grew to creative director, being responsible for print, tv and web campaigns for Universal Music, Viacom Network and SMEs. 2008 he created the Berlin Trash Film Festival which gained international recognition and got a funding from the Hauptstadtkulturfonds. Since 2016 Florian has been focussing on motion design and built up his skills in the area design and animation of 2D and 3D visual effects.
