Born in Scotland in 1982 Richard moved to Wales at a very early age. While in school he met like minded friends with a passion for film. This fueled his interest so he went to study film at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 2001. While in university he made various short films and found more passion for Post Production. After graduating in 2004 Richard started working in London as an edit assistant at a facilities company called Zero DB.<span class=”Apple-converted-space”> </span>He remained at Zero DB for 7 years, moving from edit assistant to Head of Post Production, working on various TV projects as an editor and motion graphics designer.<span class=”Apple-converted-space”> </span>For the last couple of years he works as a freelance editor/graphic designer/VFX artist and has worked on various feature films and other projects.<span class=”Apple-converted-space”> </span>In 2009 Richard also became the Creative Director to a UK based Mixed Martial Arts promotion called BAMMA (British Association of Mixed Martial Arts) which hold events all around the UK and is one of the leading MMA promotions in Europe.
